Curbless Showers: Modern, Accessible, and Beautiful

Curbless showers — with no lip to step over — are one of the most popular bathroom trends, and for good reason. They're safer, more spacious, and stunningly modern.

Benefits of Going Curbless

• Accessibility: Wheelchairs and walkers roll right in.
• Aging in place: No trip hazard, ever.
• Visual space: The floor flows continuously, making the bathroom feel larger.
• Easy cleaning: A squeegee reaches every corner.

What Curbless Requires

A curbless shower needs the floor sloped toward the drain, which may involve adjusting the subfloor. It's best planned during a full shower replacement. Onyx custom bases make the slope precise and leak-proof.
